7) I have not registered in advance, can I just turn up?
No, only registered participants that have received invitation confirmation by e-mail are allowed to attend the events.

8) What language will the conference take place in?
The language of the conference is English.

9) Shouldn’t the language of the conference be Tibetan?
While we acknowledge the importance of Tibetan language, feedback we received after our conferences in DC and Paris strongly recommended we try to include Tibetan youth and also include people who are less comfortable in Tibetan. Therefore we are deliberately reaching out to Tibetans aged 18-30 in NY/NJ area and we feel that language barrier should not exclude people from taking part (on the assumption that young people who are comfortable with Tibetan would also be as comfortable in English).

10) I’m not of Tibetan heritage, can I still participate?
No, in person participation is limited to those of Tibetan heritage only.

11) Is there an age restriction to the participants?
We welcome Tibetans aged 18-30 for the conference.
